Bernardus Wedding with Lavender in Bloom!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing this beautiful wedding a Bernardus Lodge and Spa alongside Jodee Debes! The day began with the sweetest couple relaxing and getting ready!

They chose to do a first look and they are just the sweetest. The vibe of the day was certainly ‘all fun, no stress’ and these two certainly pulled it off!

Portraits after first look are always so sweet to me! It’s such a special time where the couple is relaxed and just purely happy to see one another.

As a bonus – your hair and makeup is perfectly fresh during this time!

It was perfect that the lavender here was blooming! Also, having your guests walking through lavender is that extra little boost of scent that will leave them remembering pure magic!

Black and whites are so classically beautiful to me! I always deliver about 25% of your gallery as color PLUS black and whites!

Bernardus is such a gorgeous venue! I love that there are places for guests to stay on-site and everything is easy and close!

How many venues have fountains, lavender, roses AND vineyards?!

These two had a small wedding party with only their closest friends and family!

There is nothing I love more than brides and grooms enjoying their ceremony! Look at your partner, look at your guests and soak it in!

This couple wanted to really be present in their day and chose to do an extended cocktail hour! Their grazing table was stunning. My favorite might be the goat cheese with herbs and dried flowers… yum!

Cocktail hour was complete with lawn games for guests to enjoy, like put put, cornhole and mega jenga!

The couple had an impromptu dance when their favorite song came on, and this is why thorough coverage is so important to me! I always have an eye on the bride and groom to catch cute moments like this 🙂

These ladies enjoyed themselves playing Jenga – I was pretty impressed by how well they did!

During cocktail hour, the incredible venue and coordinator team set up dinner in the same space as ceremony.

The white and green florals look so classic against such a vibrant venue!

I love toasts. I do! It’s one of the best ways to really get to see the side of the couples that their closes friends and family know! I love love LOVE candids of guests during speeches.

This family had some really cute traditions to welcome their new son in law into their family officially! They sang a song and took a shot together!
