Tehama Golf Club Wedding

I had the absolute pleasure of closing out the 2021 wedding season second shooting this beautiful wedding for Jodee Debes Photography. While Carmel is typically known for its cooler or overcast weather, this day truly lucked out with perfect California fall weather. While they tied the knot at the beautiful Carmel Mission Basilica, they celebrated tying the knot at Clint Eastwoods beautiful wedding venue, the Tehama Golf Club!

They decided to tie the knot at the incredible and historic Carmel Mission Basilica. Founded by Junipero Serra in 1770 this is a true piece of California history! Where people choose to get married is always so important and personal so I always try to capture plenty of photos of the venue.

Although the bride and groom chose not to see each other before the ceremony, the bride did a quick first look with her dad! I always love little moments like this!

One thing that a lot of people don’t realize is that church weddings can have huge restrictions in terms of photography! If you are having a church or Catholic wedding I highly suggest making sure you see some photography from inside churches! It’s so important that photographers have proper equipment and are prepared for any circumstances, like this church where we were not allowed in the aisle or to move around during the ceremony.

One of my favorite things is the vibe of family and friends directly after you say ‘I Do’! So many hugs and happy tears all around.

After we finished up some super fun couples portraits, we headed to the reception venue! After a short trip through Carmel Valley, we headed up a private road that continued up, up and up to a stunning golf course venue.
